K-State Cancer Research Week

The 2024 K-State Cancer Research Week will be September 10th and 11th, 2024.

Tuesday, September 10, K-State Student Union, 11:30am-1pm: Cancer Data Blitz will be held in the Union and will be hosted by the legendary local EMCEE Dave Lewis. Researchers and Faculty members will only have two minutes and two slides to present their research and information. Recent graduate cancer research awardees will also present their work in poster format. Faculty presenting in order:

Wednesday, September 11, 406 Poyntz Ave, 7pm: The Sunset Zoo and Manhattan Brewing Company will be hosting "Science on Tap: The Science Behind the Cure," where guests can learn about cancer research from K-State’s own researchers while enjoying delicious local brews.
